Sirota's Hostile Takeover Book Review
by Bill Bolton
The David Sirota's book "Hostile Takeover,
How Big Money & Corruption Conquered Our
Government -- and How We Take It Back",
details many issues.
However, it skipped religion!
In a footnote on page 4, he writes:
" ... Federal election law technically
bars corporations from using the company treasury to
make political donations to candidates ..."
Well, Sirota continues in detail as to how corporations
get around it.
His avoiding of religion gives an indication of
the fear we have of religion or how
brainwashed we are. How can Sirota, endorsed by
many, avoid such an issue. Is he brainwashed
by religion to look the other way, brainwashed to
say it is divine corruption so it is OK, or
scared to mention it because of consequences?
Sirota's book is really a collection of loopholes,
and can be simplified just by saying, stop all
loopholes. Oops, I included the church.
How much does it cost to believe in God? zero dollars.
How much does it cost to brainwash everyone to believe
in God? Billions of dollars.
He Signed my Book
I bought his book at a book signing, and we talked
briefly before he signed it.
I explained I ran for Governor of Georgia and
part of my platform was to stop all loopholes.
He signed it by writing:
"To Bill -- Keep fighting the hostile takeover! David Sirota"
Multi-attack is Needed
What he wrote in the signing is true for all of us.
Meaning, we all have to "keep fighting the hostile
takeover" in spite of doing it in our own way.
GOD-Nation v. JJ-Nation
Sirota quotes Jefferson by writing just
before the Table of Contents:
"I hope we shall crush in its birth the
aristocracy of monied corporations which
dare already to challenge our Government
to a trial of strength, and bid defiance
to the laws of our country."
Thomas Jefferson, 1816.
Again I say GOD-Nation v. the JJ-Nation.
